Job Description

As a Intern - Full Stack Engineer at iSchoolConnect, you will be involved in all stages of the development lifecycle, from concept to deployment. You will work alongside experienced engineers and product managers to develop front-end and back-end components of our web applications. This role is a fantastic opportunity to grow your skills in a supportive and innovative environment.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the design and development of user-friendly, accessible, and responsive web applications.
  • Write clean, maintainable code for both the front end and back end.
  • Collaborate with team members to brainstorm and solve complex problems.
  • Participate in code reviews and adhere to best practices in web development.
  • Continuously learn and stay up-to-date with the latest web technologies.

Key Qualifications

  • Basic knowledge of web development technologies, including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
  • Understanding of web accessibility standards and a commitment to developing inclusive web applications.
  • Eagerness to learn back-end technologies and frameworks.
  • Familiarity with responsive and adaptive design principles.
  • Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Good to Have

  • Portfolio or examples of project websites, especially those demonstrating a focus on accessibility and user-friendly design.
  • Familiarity with a version control system, preferably Git.
  • Basic understanding of a server-side language (e.g., Python, Ruby, PHP, etc.) and databases.
